Housing Build: 2nd Block Roofs and Windows
Following yesterday's post I have added the roofs, windows and doors to another bock of 2 houses. So I have partially finished a "street" of four houses. Pictures of the fronts and backs above. Again the roofs are a bit rougher than I had intended them to be but all things considered they meet my wargaming "looks good from 2 feet on the table" standard.
I have another block of 2 houses and a small warehouse type building yet to do, I'm running low on foamboard so I'm not sure If I will manage to finish the warehouse any time soon.
Thanks for looking.

These look marvellous mate. Really good job on these the roof's look great IMO.
ReplyDeleteDamn bloody nice sir, damn nice.
ReplyDeleteMr Smillie your talents on the building market is amazing. You are putting up houses quicker than Taylor Woodrow's. They are very, very nice building too. Does the roof come off to place troops inside?
ReplyDeleteThanks guys, I'm pretty pleased with the results so far.
ReplyDeleteSadly no the roof's are fixed I had to compromise as I felt it would just take far to long to make them all enter able. I sort of wish I had made the roof's removable but it was much easier making them with the roofs glued down.
Absolutely superb!
ReplyDeleteComing along very nicely indeed mate. These will look superb on the table.
ReplyDeleteVery nice indeed.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm part way through the third block of two at the moment and they look pretty cool all lined up together. I was supposed to be getting more roof textures, and cobbles today but bloody staples wanted to charge me £3 on top of the normal printing charges because I had the audacity to bring my printing in on an SD Memory card in stead of a USB Stick!
ReplyDeleteI said non!
