So I'm pleased to say I think I might have finally broken the 28mm malaise that has been afflicting me for the last year or so. After yesterday's zombie I finally fancied painting my perry's salute loot.
These five figures represent half (or there about's) of the figures I am painting in Southend Football clubs colours for VBCW. I've used a newish technique and I'me proper chuffed with the results, particularly after such a long break from painting more than one or two VBCW figures.
Sorry for the picture spam. I've got the rest of the team and my 3 officials undercoated and ready to paint, hope to get them done during the day tomorrow or at least started. I'm still intending to continue with my 6mm projects, but i'm pleased that my general drought seems to be over.
Very nice looking sculpts and painting, sir.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jay.

DeleteThat is such a great idea there Mr Smillie and well executed to.
ReplyDeleteThanks PK, I'm pleased with the results so far.
DeleteWhat a cracking idea and great painting. At first glance I thought they were some navy types and then I read the post; Bravo!
ReplyDeleteCheers Mark, yes that is the only problem with the figures they do look a bit like Navy troops, or anglican league (another vbcw faction)
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I've awarded you a Liebster! I've put the details on my blog.
ReplyDeleteDam you Michael now I have to do something with it ;)
DeleteNow that's a cool idea, great job!
