Blue Hats

I have spent the last couple of evenings painting the first four of my Peacekeepers. The figures are from Gripping Beast's MOFO range and I really like the sculpts. I don't know why but I find the SLR very evocative of peacekeepers and always think it looks very purposeful (if heavy) as a weapon. I have some more of these great figures to paint up and my intention is to get some more from the Beast in the future.

I don't really have a clear plan for what sort of games these models will be used in but I do have a slightly mad idea to use them in a sort of alternative/future wars thing and I plan on getting some heavy gear models and using them as 28mm fighting suits. Obviously the suits will be painted up in UN colours as I love how it looks and think it looks very future wars.

I know this doesn't really make much sense but I just fancied painting up some of these chaps. Now if only I can find an affordable HIP helicopter to shuttle them about in!

  1. Nice picture, thanks guy!
    Have a nice day.

  2. lovely sculpts indeed. I know what you mean about the SLR; a proper rifle! Great work on the DPM by the way.

  3. Cheers gents, they were a pleasure to paint.
